As we get older, I think birthdays become less of an ordeal. Rather than go out drinking with all my friends this year I planned an aerial yoga class at Flight Room Ballard, where we all got to try something new by swinging in silk hammocks. I also got to finally hike Sauk Mountain with my girl Meadow and my friend I met through instagram, Veronika! (@wanderingbackpack) I love getting to try new things and when you have friends to do them with there really is no better way to spend a birthday!
